On November 1st, five of Dune Sea Garrison’s own descended upon the Mesa Baptist Church in support of the AZ Assist Halloween part. AZ Assist is a local support community for the families of teens and young adults on the autistic spectrum and helps these teens and young adults adapt to a more independent life through employment options, post-secondary education and social opportunities.
TC-10101 and TK’s 71114, 82287, 10267, and 28028 engaged with some amazing young adults in some carnival games, food, photos and a whole lot of dancing! As you can tell from the photos, a great time was had by all, and through a simple game of ring-toss TK-71114 (Chris “BigGulp” Gilb), singlehandedly proved that Stormtroopers CAN hit their target. Photographic proof was obtained as well.
