Teachers SOUND OFF

Post by CoachLewis » Tue Apr 18, 2023 10:53 pm

I would love to see the participation of teachers in our garrison. I have had students at my high school ask about trooping and then I tell the about the 501st. Some trooping clubs at high schools would be fun to connect and build youth membership.

It's important to remember that membership in the 501st requires an individual to be 18+. We have the Galactic Academy available for minors, but their participation in troops requires parental supervision.

It's great to create Star Wars or costuming clubs as an on ramp to future participation, but the school clubs will not be affiliated with the 501st or DSG.
